ABOUT ME
I'm a Research Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department in the College of Computing and Informatics at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. My research focus is in the Science of Broadening Participation in Computing (SoBPC) and computer science education program evaluation in efforts to make computing inclusive and accessible to all. I've been PI, Co-PI, or Senior Personnel on large scale projects like CS4All STEM Ecosystem Research Practice Partnerships, STARS Computing Corps, the CISE REU Evaluation Toolkit, and the Connected Learner. Each of these projects are working to transform pathways into computing, and to create equitable educational opportunities in K12, college and beyond.
